Houston PD Homicide Division Detectives reported that police officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the parking lot of a gas station just past midnight on Saturday, 27 January. Upon arrival, police found a man on the ground. He had suffered a gunshot wound.
Witnesses told detectives the man had robbed multiple people while they were pumping gas. At some point, another man who witnessed a robbery shot the robbery suspect and left the scene uninjured. He later contacted and met with detectives at the Houston police HQ.
Paramedics transported the downed robber to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest where he was pronounced deceased.
