Like many pseudo-intellectuals, underlying her surprise is an odd idea that we know when and where, specifically, crime is going to occur. If we could predict such, we’d have no crime. Thus, carrying a firearm everywhere is required if one is to have effective self protection. Also, does the woman not know that Texas was born into the issue of self-defense and guns? The anniversary of the Battle of Gonzales, “Come and Take It,” is on Monday, October 2nd.
