A pregnant Houston woman was waiting for her husband in their vehicle, while he was in a north Houston convenience store, when she noticed two armed men exiting separate vehicles and begin to walk her way.
She immediately phoned her husband and told her she was about to be robbed by two armed men.
Both the husband and wife were armed and exchanged gunfire with the robbers.
The armed husband and wife, and their first child, are okay but alleged armed robber Mario Ipina Duque, 39, is in a Houston hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. His accomplice escaped in green Dodge Charger and a search is underway.
