The news of Texas covered today includes:
Our Lone Star story of the day: Is Rep. Murr, and other House leadership members, trying to sabotage the election integrity bill while working to appear to be tough on the issue? Is the old “blame the Senate” game being setup? I hope not but Murr’s late night list of amendments to the bill that already cleared committee and comments about not going to conference with the Senate make one wonder. And similar is happening on the bill to protect Texas businesses from local employment-related regulations. Why has a Republican member joined with Democrats to keep the House State Affairs committee from having a quorum to consider the bill? Time will tell.
Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.
