Are some House Republicans sabotaging key bills to placate Dems? | Supreme Court says Guv has power over mandates – Pratt on Texas for 8/26/2021

The news of Texas covered today includes:

Our Lone Star story of the day: Is Rep. Murr, and other House leadership members, trying to sabotage the election integrity bill while working to appear to be tough on the issue? Is the old “blame the Senate” game being setup? I hope not but Murr’s late night list of amendments to the bill that already cleared committee and comments about not going to conference with the Senate make one wonder. And similar is happening on the bill to protect Texas businesses from local employment-related regulations.
