Listener: Immigrant physician dismayed at what’s happening in America

Mr. Pratt,

I am writing about something that disturbs me greatly and I see no solution. First of all I am an immigrant to this country. I don’t understand how so many people hate this great country, perhaps you can explain this to me.

It would appear to me that the different parties are pushing personality cults, emotional agendas, rather than listening/understanding the real options that are at the center of the current political debate and will determine the country’s future.

The concerns are the Bill of Rights and the Constitution will be destroyed and personal freedom will be lost.

We have radical left groups rioting, plundering and looting and saying they wish to take down the government, but not offering any solutions.  I presume their option is a Marxist communist style of government. It would appear to me that this is the same agenda that is not operated well in other parts of the world. The concerns are the Bill of Rights and the Constitution will be destroyed and personal freedom will be lost.

The focus on Trump, BLM, and Antifa are really just distractions from the central issues. These groups disguise the true motivations, it is not Trump, the real target is the American people.

It seems to me that many of the citizens don’t understand the importance of having the freedom to raise one’s family and work as one sees fit versus increasing government control and regulation.

It seems to me that many of the citizens don’t understand the importance of having the freedom to raise one’s family and work as one sees fit versus increasing government control and regulation. As far as I can see it, you are one of the few commentators that understand this but I don’t feel the message is reaching enough people who should be concerned where the country is going. We need to return to law and order and the constitution if we want this country to survive.

Kind regards,
Dr. Justin McCarthy

P.S. Many of your readers do not seem to know that George Soros in an interview with Bild magazine in September 2014 stated he was intent on bringing down the United States and would use African American people as a tool to further his agenda as they could be easily manipulated.

Pratt responds:

As to explaining things, I cannot except to say: Many, if not most, people do not truly want to be a Citizen, who is self-governing and self-responsible – that takes work and the risk of having to admit to one’s mistakes in life.

Instead, they actually want a system in which they sort-of choose their masters (democracy) and that allows them to choose different masters if they come not to like one.

It is awful but predictable.
