I cant speak to everything he said but as the daughter, sister and wife of military officers I can tell you that participation in base gay pride events isn’t voluntary although pretending that it is voluntary is required. Saying that participation was required will get you in almost as much trouble as not participating.
I’m not defending the rest of what he said..
But do keep in mind that what I’ve told you is not well known among civilians. The pro-gay, pro-progressive pressure in the military has become intense in the last few years. I have several relatives who gave up what could have been great military careers because of it. All military members. but particularly Christians, need our prayers..
