A relative of the owner of a Harris County smoke shop was staying overnight at the shop when two masked men entered to steal merchandise around 5 a.m.
Being a prepared Anti-Wimp, the man sleeping in the shop shot at one of the suspects causing them to both flee. The shot burglar ran across the street to a car wash for help, the second burglar has not been located. The shot man was eventually taken hospital and is in police custody.
Why have a relative sleep in the shop? The owner told FOX 26 this is the sixth time his business has been broken into.
No charges have been filed against the relative who shot one of the burglars.
All the better for Harris County, and all the better for Texas.
