It appears that someone may have promised the lawyer representing Parrish’s pretender of a commissioner, Mark Meurer, that county taxpayers would pay her fees. Meanwhile, today Lubbock County commissioners voted for a resolution asking the Texas Rangers to investigate the entire affair.
