Talarico: An amalgam of America’s worst woke fads

Who is James Talarico?

Historian and pundit Victor Davis Hanson said about Democrat nominee James Talarico: “Talarico makes Beto [O’Rourke] look like a conservative.”

Little Jimmy “The Creep” Talarico, as he is known on Pratt on Texas and no doubt to non perverts who have followed his career, is emblematic of the current age: He’s an amalgam of most every confused social spasm of our nation’s unmoored youth and stuck-in-adolescence adult population since the years that brought the fully anti-American deconstructionist Obama movement to the forefront.

Talarico has glommed onto, and participated in, almost every depraved movement of his young age, all while claiming to be a Christian and Presbyterian seminarian who rejects the clear and unambiguous teachings of Christian scripture.

Here are but a few of the press headlines related to Talarico (search for the exact headline wording online to find each story):

  • James Talarico Says Islam Shaped Him as Much as Christianity – “I know personally that I’ve learned just as much about my faith from Salman’s tradition, from the Islamic mystics, from poets like Rumi, as much as I have from Christian authors and Christian writers.”
  • James Talarico is Trying to Redefine Faith in Senate Campaign – “I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity,” said Talarico in a podcast about Activist Theology.
  • Talarico Says ‘God Is Not a Christian’ in Unearthed Sermon – He describes people who say this nation is a Christian nation as “Christian nationalists” and says they are “theologically blasphemous.” He also claims that the “table of fellowship is open to everybody, including our Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and atheist neighbors.”
  • Talarico caught on tape giggling about his church housing illegal immigrants set for deportation – in the same interview Talarico pointed to Texas laws banning abortion and sex-change surgeries for children as “ideologies from this Christo-fascism movement….”
  • Sexually Explicit Books Found in Library of Talarico’s Austin Church – titles such as Gender Queer; All Boys Aren’t Blue; This Book is Gay, and; Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.
  • Talarico Says Black Churches Understand Jesus Better than White Churches – “Too many white churches are focused on the afterlife and not really much on this life,” Talarico said.
  • WATCH: James Talarico Denies Jesus Is the Only Way, Says Allah Leads to Same Truth“I find that they’re all kind of equal pathways to truth… Whether it’s God or Yahweh or Allah or Nirvana, the Great Spirit, whatever you call it, this is all, you know, different pathways to the same kind of fundamental truth of reality.”

Talarico also has a history of supporting the destruction of the oil and gas business in Texas and pushing the failed European policies of moving to 100-percent solar and wind for electricity.

  •  Texas Dem James Talarico’s extremely woke posts are coming back to haunt him — said there are 6 sexes, ‘poverty is violence’
  • ‘In Fact,’ There’s Actually ‘Six’ Genders, Democrat Says With A Straight Face At An Actual Policy Hearing
  • James Talarico says he opposes transgender surgery for minors. Is he flip flopping? – This Austin American-Statesman story points out that his recent statement of opposition to trans mutilation for children “appear[s] to be at odds with a vote Talarico took in 2023 against legislation outlawing “procedures and treatments for gender transitioning” for children…”
  • Unearthed clip shows Talarico calling parents ‘abusive’ for denying children’s gender identity – “I think there are some folks that would think that if you deny your child’s gender identity, that’s incredibly harmful. And whether or not we label it with the term abuse, it’s abusive for sure,” Talarico said while speaking at a committee hearing in the Texas Legislature in 2019.
  • James Talarico Worked as “Equitable Education” Consultant at Left-Wing Firm Developing DEI Plans for Texas School Districts – “The firm, MAYA Consulting, described its work as “rooted in our diversity, equity, and inclusion philosophy” and donated to a group working to defund the Austin Police Department, a Washington Free Beacon review found.”
  • DHS hits back at James Talarico after Democrat claims ICE ‘kidnapped’ 5-year-old boy deported with father – The man was properly deported and chose to take his son with him. “ICE does NOT separate families,” Homeland Security Secretary Mullin wrote about the incident.
  • Talarico Calls Biden’s Border ‘Utter Chaos’ In Attempted Immigration Rebrand – The story notes that in a Democrat Primary debate with Jasmine Crockett on January 24th Talarico said: “Our southern border should be like our front porch. There should be a giant welcome mat out front.”
  • Talarico Is Trying to Win Back Hispanics Along the Texas Border Who Swung Toward the GOP – So if he thinks Biden’s policy was “utter chaos” why would he say this: “A lot of people, for some reason, especially the Hispanics, changed to Republican. I just don’t see what the logic was.” Maybe those border-area Hispanics actually knew the Biden policy was chaos and voted to end it. Talarico was defending and supporting the chaos until June of this year.
  • Resurfaced video shows James Talarico discussing ‘exciting’ opportunity to end ‘over-policing”
  • Talarico’s move to swap out ‘woman’ resurfaces amid backlash over similar bill in NY: ‘Insane individual’ – Talarico “once swapped out the term “woman” with “pregnant individual” in a [Texas] bill that would have created protections for abortion…”

And then, there are numerous stories about Talarico dating staffers in the Texas Capitol as he served as a state representative. Even the New York Times reported on such. The Dallas Express had a good story headlined: Talarico Silent on Staff-Dating Ban After Campaign Reverses Timeline.

Talarico also has a history of supporting the destruction of the oil and gas business in Texas and pushing the failed European policies of moving to 100-percent solar and wind for electricity. It is all detailed in a June story headlined: Unearthed video shows leftist Senate hopeful celebrating anti-fossil fuel group’s arrival in Texas.

I don’t know if Victor Davis Hanson is right that Talarico makes Beto Pancho O’Rourke look conservative but the sentiment is correct. Now, will enough Texas voters open their eyes to the truth about Talarico and refuse to vote for someone who supports the very policies that have people leaving California, New York, Illinois, and other failed states?
