Texas Democrat imbecilic nonsense | Dem judges: We can’t even deport violent convicts – Pratt on Texas 8/24/2026

The news of Texas covered today includes:

Our Lone Star story of the day: Lubbock County Democrat Party leadership attacks Lubbock Young Republicans claiming a term it used online is “racist.”

No amount of stretching language to fit a preconception allows me to see how “vote hard R this November” is racist or even objectionable to anyone, other than soft R’s! The term has been used for my entire life to describe a voter who votes in each GOP primary and votes Republican each general election. Sorry, Dems but I don’t live in the gutter you do so I am happily ignorant of why you say that voting “hard R” in November is a “deeply harmful racial slur.”

And notice the irresponsibility of the Lubbock media. At least three outlets ran the story but did not bother to explain (or even inquire?) how the term or phrase has racial undertones. If it isn’t obvious then it requires explaining otherwise you are just running baseless attacks.

Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.

An example of how deeply embedded into our institutions is the concept of open borders and non-responsiblity immigration: 1st Circ. Says NH Witness Retaliation Is No Basis For Removal.

Cornyn: Texas to get $7.5 billion from border reimbursement fund. The last few lines are the best of the story!
