They may fix it before you see it but the Dallas Morning News Editorial Board got a foundational fact wrong in their otherwise good editorial on the Texas Tech gambling QB saga. The judge was not a hometown judge but a judge from their patch, Tarrant County. The Sporting News got it right days ago. The “hometown judge,” a friend of mine, recused himself from the case right away.
