Our Lone Star story of the day: I speak briefly, in relation to the conviction of Karmelo Anthony yesterday, to how unfair it is to so many “Black” people in this country that the liberal media very often amplifies race agitators of the most ignorant and stupid type as “Black leaders.” Well beyond the arena of bigotry or racism, much of what gets amplified as black leadership often leads people, not just “White” folk, to distrust and even hold in contempt, black people. I think it really shows that the Left/liberals are not really the supporters of minorities they claim, but actually the people who push narratives, in a sideways and often subtle style, that damage minorities.

Texas high school students show gains across all subjects on STAAR test.
Texas Tech’s gambling quarterback issue is disgusting in that it shows how easily some will set aside obvious right and wrong – and for something is inconsequential as possible football champion ship. I think Cedric Golden’s piece especially good: Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby should never play football again. Also worth noting is this: NCAA’s Charlie Baker eviscerates Brendan Sorsby reinstatement decision. The bit about courts and judges is correct, it’s partly how we got to this point. This is interesting too: What to know about judge who granted Brendan Sorsby’s injunction.
