The Left never cared that he was violently against both legal and illegal immigration, but now they care that he appears to have used his position of power to have sex with young girls and women. Chávez and his group were never anything other than power and money seeking thugs and that was long known to any who would look, even Leftists.

Preposterous: Democrats and their front groups are upset that Texas is finally concurring with a Clinton-era law and refusing to issue occupational licenses to people who are not actually legal to work in the USA! They say it “punishes immigrants who try to work with the system.” That is beyond ridiculous as anyone here illegally or trying to work illegally is inherently themselves working outside of our system.
School choice in Texas has proven very popular as judged by applications for the funding slots. A judge has just ordered the application window remain open through 31 March due to a lawsuit filed by Muslims. Oddly, Pre-K seems to be a big demand which I think is often just parents wanting free childcare.
