IMPORTANT: There is an organized effort underway by the non-conservative former Taylor Co. I am not issuing recommendations on the Republican Party of Texas non-binding ballot resolutions. Keep in mind that this is an opinion poll of Republican voters and not a policy referendum. You are not voting to make a law but merely saying YES you agree or NO you do not agree with the statement.
Here are the 2026 Primary ballot propositions:
- Proposition 1
Texas property taxes should be assessed at the purchase price and phased out entirely over the next six years through spending reductions. - Proposition 2
Texas should require any local government budget that raises property taxes to be approved by voters at a November general election. - Proposition 3
Texas should prohibit denial of healthcare or any medical service based solely on the patient’s vaccination status. - Proposition 4
Texas should require its public schools to teach that life begins at fertilization. - Proposition 5
Texas should ban gender, sexuality, and reproductive clinics and services in K-12 schools. - Proposition 6
Texas should enact term limits on all elected officials. - Proposition 7
Texas should ban the large-scale export or sale of our groundwater and surface water to any single private or public entity. - Proposition 8
The Texas Legislature should reduce the burden of illegal immigration on taxpayers by ending public services for illegal aliens. - Proposition 9
The Republican-controlled Texas Legislature should stop awarding leadership positions, including committee and subcommittee chairmanships and vice chairmanships, to Democrats. - Proposition 10
Texas should prohibit Sharia Law.

All Islamic Mosques and the entire Islamic religion should be banned from our State! I have read the Qu’ran from which they base their beliefs and it Incompatable with our Constitution. It actually says its okay to beat your wife, unbelievers should be killed, adulterers and gays should be stoned or thrown off of buildings and many more un-moral things.
This should go nationwide. We only have one law in the United States and that’s our U S Constitution.
Islam is a GOVERNMENTAL system that parades as a religion. Islam means submission. Sharia law is the vehicle for that submission. A ASharia law is apartheid for women and children. Usually when I state the above I also put in what you said in your last sentence. I make these statements because people need to realize Islam is a death cult, not a religion. We need to look no further than the 11 countries fully controlled by Sharia law. I ran is one of them. It is said a country may slide into Islam but will have to fight to the death to get out of it.
Can we get Ector County?
Sorry Scott but I’m not covering those races.
Can I get more info on Prop 9? I am not understanding the consequences if the democrats are a majority and how that is related. Thanks
It is nothing but an opinion poll of GOP voters. Also, it is about what Republicans do in the legislature, it would have no effect upon what Dems would do if they ran the show. No doubt, there are some RINOs Dems would put as committee chairmen in order to appear to be bi-partisan. It would all be show as the RINOs are just that – Republicans in Name Only.
Are you giving recommendations for Wichita County?
I am not Ken. Sorry.
Robert
Okay, thanks anyway>
How can we vote for Abbott when he takes $12-14m from a Muslim pakastani. Is he helping to build mosques in Texas. We will soon be a Muslim state!
Was Tom Sell an intern for Charlie Steinhom
I don’t know about “Steinhom” 🙂 but Tom mostly worked for Larry Combest back when Charlie Stenholm was around.
Why am I getting those awful campaign urges to “Vote for Conservative —-” in the mail for Dustin Burrows?? Who’s running against him?? Why is he wasting money like that? Is that how he governs? Never mind, I know how he governs; he helps the Democrats.
No one. Note that the mailer is paid for by American Power PAC. These are groups trying to curry favor with the powerful. They just want Burrows to know they spent big money for him!
What was your reason for endorsing Ken Paxton?
Because I support Ken Paxton in the race. He has the strongest and longest record of being among the most active and effective movement conservatives in the nation, maybe the top record for such in Texas. I’ve spoken of this repeatedly for the last few years on the show.
Thank you for the recommendations.
