A frightening event transpired outside an Arlington gas station at just before 4 a.m. on Monday when a woman came to the station carrying a knife and began striking a Jeep with the knife as it was being fueled.

The man fueling the Jeep, with his wife inside, drew the woman away by walking to another vehicle on the property and the woman followed him and began striking that vehicle with her knife.

The man, being a properly armed True Texan, pulled a firearm and warned the woman to stop and stay away. She did not and advanced toward him. He then shot the woman to stop the attack.

Police arrived later and found a 58-year-old woman on the ground with a gunshot wound to her leg. She was taken to hospital.

The man his wife were uninjured.

All the better for Tarrant County, and all the better for Texas!
