Around 11 p.m. on Friday in Houston, two men showed up at a house claiming they were police officers and there to serve a warrant. The two were wearing protective vests, masks, and had badges hanging from their necks.
Being smart and not opening the door, the homeowner studied the scene via camera and noticed there were no police cars and was suspect of the masks. At some point the two fake cops opened fire into the home.
The homeowner, being a prepared Texan and armed when he went to the door, returned fire through the door and hit both fake cops. When police arrived later, CPR was ineffective as the two had already begun the Eternal Dirt Nap.
All the better for Harris County and Houston, and all the better for Texas.
