The news of Texas covered today includes:
Our Lone Star story of the day: A judge in Illinois says “no” to enforcing Texas’ law on runaway Democrat legislators. No surprise but worth the try. The entire Democrat hypocrisy over Congressional partisan gerrymandering is shown in this: Anti-Gerrymandering Watchdog Announces Its Support For Gerrymandering. Not really a surprise given that Common Cause is little but a front group for Democrat policy.
Meanwhile, California’s Newsom announces redistricting effort to counter Texas plan. Recent polling shows California voters not aboard with this idea, yet.
Texas House Democrats say they will issue their demands for the next special session tomorrow. Demands?! Maybe we should go ahead and redistrict state House and Senate seats too and draw even more of them out.
Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.
Identical House and Senate bills ban intoxicating THC derived from Hemp – new polling shows an overwhelming majority of Republican Primary voters support a full ban and oppose Abbott’s idea of “regulating” such which would be de facto legalization of pot.
For JCPenny and the rest (a bit of this played on the show today, it’s in my regular bumper music database):
Here’s a little bit more from the Rev. Horton Heat on music.
