Sunday afternoon in Forney, an intoxicated and disgruntled neighbor took things too far by forcibly entering the home of a man with which he has had an ongoing dispute.
WFAA reported that according to Forney police “earlier that day, the suspect became intoxicated and approached his neighbor’s home “in an agitated state.” Family members and bystanders tried to prevent the man from entering the neighbor’s home, but despite their efforts, he “forced entry” into the home through a glass door.”
After breaking into the house, police say the man began assaulting the homeowner which was a terrible mistake as the homeowner was armed and defended himself by shooting him, the attacker, twice. The homeowner incurred minor injuries from the opening assualt.
The man who was shot was taken to hospital by air ambulance and will later be arrainged on a charge of burglary of a habitation.
All the better for Kaufman County, and all the better for Texas!
