According to Houston police, a woman called 9-1-1 at 12:44 a.m. Tuesday reporting someone attempting to break into her apartment. The woman was with her boyfriend who had her hide in a closet.
Two men kicked in the door and entered. At this point the woman’s armed boyfriend opened fire on the invaders. One was hit and began the eternal dirt nap on the scene. He was later identified as an ex-boyfriend of the woman.
The second man fled in a Jeep, was chased by police at high speed and was eventually arrested. The man had a pistol in his possession at the time of arrest.
All the better for Harris County, and all the better for Texas!
