The news of Texas covered today includes:
Our Lone Star story of the day: A large, 33,000 student, Texas school district has lost in court and will be forced to adopt single member districts for its school board. I’ve no problem with single member districts but I have a huge problem with the bigotry, racism, and dirty trick that is minority-majority districts. Such do nothing positive for minorities and derive from a bigoted idea that all minorities of a similar trait think alike. The 1965 Voting Rights Act has much in it that was simply a trick on minorities by the Democrats.
Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.
