The bill needs a hearing in committee and you need to take action to call the committee chairwoman, Rep. Angie Chen Button, and tell her staff you want an immediate hearing on HB 1549, the Retail Decency Act by Rep. Hickland. Call both the Austin and Richardson offices and ask for an immediate hearing. As chairwoman, Button has the power to get this done.
