On Tuesday afternoon, a man entered a cell phone repair store on Bandera Road near Helotes and was unhappy with the repair service rendered and began an argument with a store employee which turned physical.
San Antonio police reported that the customer, 47-year-old Kenneth Mark McKnight Jr., pulled a pistol during the confrontation and shot Cody Bell, a 35-year-old “music artist” and employee of the cell phone store.
Within a moment, Kenneth McKnight, Jr. was also dead as another employee of the store, who was armed as True Texans should be, pulled his firearm shot the assaulting customer McKnight.
The victim, Cody Bell’s friend told KSAT: “To hear that he died over something so petty or minuscule is just utterly insulting. I hope that person burns in hell.”
Police confirmed the armed employee who shot McKnight is cooperating with investigators and is not currently facing charges.
Sad story but putting McKnight into the eternal dirt nap appears to be all the better for Bexar County, and all the better for Texas!
