Our Lone Star story of the day: Texas Senate moving fast and Lieutenant Governor Patrick has released another batch of “priority” bills. Senator Charles Perry also announced filing of his big water infrastructure package, SB 7 and SJR 66.

Meanwhile, tomorrow, Friday, 14 March, is last day for bill filing which is the 60th day of the 140-day session and the Texas House has passed nothing.

Democrats and other leftists are not happy that Texas wants to ensure that only citizens, those legal to vote, get to register to vote!

Rep. Gerdes files HB4814, FURRIES Act, to stop public schools from letting deranged and confused children and youth from pretending to be animals at school.

And thinking of schools, Rep. Tinderholt can’t get the TASB rep. to admit that TASB is taxpayer-funded lobbying! They aren’t afraid to take the money and pay huge salaries to their team of lobbyists so why be afraid to admit it is what it is?
