The news of Texas covered today includes:
Our Lone Star story of the day: Donald J. Trump was invested with the Office of the President today in the Capitol Rotunda in the City of Washington. I’m pleased to bring you his entire inaugural address.
Also, I point out Democrats used the event to lie and propagandize about this being a “democracy” which it is not. Leftist Senator Amy Klobuchar opened by misleading the American people.
Democracy: government by the people: rule of the majority. This is the first and pure definition from Merriam-Webster and something our founders specifically opposed.
The United States of America is a Republic: a government in which the power belongs to a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by the leaders and representatives elected by those citizens to govern according to law. This matters much because Democrats claim that might makes right, meaning, as was the case with Democrat-backed slavery and segregation, that an opinion of a voting majority is superior to guaranteed natural and constitutional rights.
Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.
Texas baby murdering activist Cecile Richards, daughter of that piece of work Governor Ann Richards, died this morning of brain cancer. I guess she’ll be explaining to the Lord why killing millions of innocent babies was such a good idea.
Houston so certain of snow and ice tonight that both Hobby and Bush Intercontinental airports are closing at midnight and closed on Tuesday – a huge economic cost.
