The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says that it received calls Tuesday night alerting to a man trying to break into houses in Northwest Harris County. According to reports the 27-year-old man caused damaged at least two homes before he picked the wrong house to attempt to invade.
Police say he used a shovel to break a window of a house on Woodoak Drive just before midnight when the True Texan prepared homeowner used his firearm to confront and shoot the invader multiple times on the front porch.
The would-be home invader was taken to hospital where he began the eternal dirt nap and was declared dead.
All the better for Harris County and, all the better for Texas!
