More on the Lubbock County fight to stop a big tax increase. Some media get it right, others let the pompous Curtis Parrish feed a misleading line. And while Parrish says it would be terrible to not raise taxes, Tarrant County has already passed a big tax cut. Now, the City of Fort Worth has told the city manager to redo the budget and provide a tax cut there too!
Also from Tarrant County, public schools show they are about greed for money above all – claim the move to appraise residential property every two years, instead of every year, would destroy them and harm children!
