The news of Texas covered today includes:
Our Lone Star story of the day: Darn it! The anti-school choice crowd is getting frustrated in Texas. They can’t even design a big poll that skews results to opposing school choice! In the latest attempt pollsters found that even when respondents agree with anti-school choice arguments those same folks still favor school choice. Read it yourself here.
By the way, the poll and the Tribune story are an example of blatant propaganda that is common today. Both use the term “voucher” because that word is used by opponents of school choice and has been well demonized. Texas’ proposed program is not a voucher program but one using educational savings accounts. Vouchers are actual things.
Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.
