The Houston Police Department reported that on Sunday morning, in the midnight hour, a robbery suspect was fatally shot by a pizza delivery driver.
The driver was “making a food delivery… when he was confronted by a male suspect, who pointed a gun at him and demanded his cash.” A second male suspect, described only as a black man wearing a white hoodie, took the driver’s backpack as the first suspect held the delivery driver at gunpoint, according to Houston police.
Fearing for his life, the victim pulled out his gun and fatally shot the suspect. He then remained at the scene and provided a statement to responding police officers.
All the better for Harris County and all the better for Texas!
