Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said today, via social media, that Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to “the scene of a shooting at an apartment complex at 331 Paramatta Lane” and the “preliminary” report is that “a male was sleeping in the back seat of his 4-door pickup truck” when another “male, possibly armed with pistols, entered the truck and attempted to rob the male that [sic] was sleeping.”
The man who was sleeping in his pickup, following an argument with his girlfriend according to Fox 26, was a prepared Texan having an AR-15 rifle with him with which he shot the would-be robber several times.
The armed, wounded robber was pronounced dead on-scene according to Sheriff Gonzalez.
All the better for Harris County and all the better for Texas!
