An Arlington family was surprised last week to find a confrontational woman they did not know in their home at night, about 2 a.m.
According to Arlington police, a family were asleep when they heard a noise in their house. A teenager said he heard a voice he did not recognize and the prepared True Texan father grabbed his handgun before going to investigate the noise.
The homeowner found a woman in the kitchen, who despite being ordered by him to leave, would not do so and instead confrontationally came toward him. To protect himself and his family, he fired his handgun at the woman.
When police arrived later, the home invader was found to be deceased.
No member of the family knew the woman or has any memory of ever seeing her before. WFAA reported that the woman broke every window of the home.
All the better for Tarrant County; all the better for Texas.
