Our Lone Star story of the day: There is a concern out of the Governor’s Office that came to light last night that Texas property tax cuts, Teacher Retirement System cost of living raises, and everything else we voted on in November could be in jeopardy due to lawsuits filed in Travis County challenging things to do with the election.

Because of this the Texas Senate, which was in special session today, rushed through a bill but it’s yet to be seen if that bill will solve any of the potential problems. I explain why there is reason to be concerned but that likely things will work out without a major crisis.
