Our Lone Star story of the day: The historic Ken Paxton impeachment trial ended Saturday with full acquittal and reinstatement of the Attorney General.

Afterward, in order to put it in the historic record, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick delivered a deserved and scathing address to the Texas House of Representatives and listed reforms that need to be made in order that impeachment might not be so abused in the future.
