You are invited to a late-scheduled Pratt on Texas Listener Club event this Thursday evening.
Cole Myers, the grassroots field coordinator for Texas for NRA-ILA, National Rifle Association – Institute for Legislative Action, is coming to Lubbock to meet with us and give us an update on how the last Texas legislative session went, from NRA’s point of view, as well as discuss challenges and future legislative work.
This is NOT the non-profit side of NRA that you see at the “Friends of” banquets where we don’t talk politics. This is THE POLITICAL side of NRA with which I have volunteered as a coordinator for over twenty years. This is the part of NRA in which most of us have the greatest interest; it is a good opportunity to talk political issues with the association.
What: Visit with the Texas NRA-ILA grassroots field coordinator
When: This Thursday, 14 September 2023, at 6:00 p.m. (go until 7 p.m. or so)
Where: 1500 Broadway, San Jacinto Room (2nd Floor) (This is the former 1st National Bank / Wells Fargo building. If you go in the north entrance, you’ll easily see the escalator, right by the entrance to Newk’s Eatery, that will give you quick access to the room.)
NO COST for the meeting. Your only cost is whatever food you buy from Newk’s Eatery on the main floor below us. You can get your food and bring it up (Newk’s closes at 7pm but the Narrow Bar next to it is open late for after the meeting.)
