According to Houston police, a business owner had just returned to his place of business from a bank this morning in east Houston. As he walked in he was hit in the head.

“As he walked inside, he was hit on the back of the head by an unknown object. When he turned around, he saw two masked men who were wearing gloves. He immediately began to discharge a firearm,” said Houston Police Department Assistant Chief Chandra Hatcher.
An employee heard the commotion, saw the attack, and also being a prepared Texan, started shooting as well.
Fox 26 reports that “two of the suspects were killed. Police say a third suspect was in a vehicle and left the scene. Police are searching for the black, newer model Lincoln Navigator with license plates RTS3919.”
“We do believe that it had something to do with him leaving the bank and maybe having some cash on him, or believed to have some cash on him,” Assistant Chief Hatcher said leaving all to assume this is yet another example of “jugging” in which thieves follow and then rob people who have been to a bank or ATM.
