Temple police, responding to a shots-fired call at 11:22 p.m. on Tuesday, found an axe-wielding man trying to break into a home, according to KXXV.
The armed homeowner stopped the break-in by shooting at the suspect. No one was injured but 42-year-old Enrique Olivares soon found himself under arrest and on the way to the Bell County jail.
All the better for Bell County and all the better for Texas!
