Our Lone Star story of the day: Senator Cornyn shows, sadly once again, that he is now more “of” Washington, DC than he is of Texas when he refuses to use the term “invasion” for what is happening at the border. Meanwhile the invasion leads El Paso to declare a disaster and liberal Democrat mayors, such as the one in New York City, decry the border crisis – but in a different way. To them, the illegal crossings of millions is not a problem and they are not calling to stop it. To them, the problem is not enough money being sent to them by the feds deal with the influx of people. Growing their government footprint is what they appear to want more than stopping the flow of people. Additionally, the Boston Globe shows just how silly and not serious liberals are over the illegal alien crisis.
