The news of Texas covered today includes:

Our Lone Star story of the day: Leftwing Texas Monthly panics over ERCOT grid planning, afraid wind and solar will be left out. Texas leads the nation in wind and solar electric generation and the ratio of that to reliable generation on the grid is the root of the ERCOT problem. Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.

The national motto “In God We Trust” is going up in Texas schools.
