Anti-Wimp: Son arrives in time to save mother from home invader

Shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Monday, a man disguised as a home healthcare worker wearing scrubs knocked on the door of a 65-year-old homeowner in Houston and attempted to convince her to let him in.

The homeowner was not fooled and refused entry and immediately telephoned her son who lives nearby. During those moments the home invader dropped his disguise plan and simply busted in the woman’s door.

When seconds count police are minutes away, at best. But thankfully for this 65-year-old Houston woman her son lived seconds away and arrived just as the bad guy was busting in the door. That’s when neighbor Yazmin “…heard, ‘bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!’ Five or six gunshots,” according to Fox 26.

The woman’s son had properly ended the threat and the violent home invader had assumed the eternal dirt nap.

All the better for Harris County and all the better for Texas!
