Lubbock GOP voters get County Judge rematch, Pct. 4 commish & JP challenges, & Grace files challenge to 72nd D.C. Judge Carruth

Lubbock County’s Republican voters will see a rematch for Lubbock County judge; a contested race for the open bench of County Court at Law Number 2; and, challenges to incumbents for both commissioner and justice of the peace in Precinct 4.

Lubbock County Court at Law #2 shapes up as a three-way race to replace retiring Judge Drew Farmer.

House District 84 will see a four-way race to replace retiring state Rep. John Frullo.

Also, in a multi-county district where filings are made with the state party, Lubbock attorney John Grace has filed to challenge incumbent district (72nd) Judge Ann-Marie Carruth who was appointed to the bench by Governor Abbott after the death of Judge Ruben Reyes.
