I don’t think so but it is true that many of our chest-thumping “conservative” political leaders seem to favor words over action rejecting the great motto: Acta Non Verba. Critical Race Theory, or components of it, are in our schools and public institutions. Also parents not content to trust the “experts” are busy turning up grossly inappropriate books from our school libraries. I think the lesson is a reminder that depending upon politicians too much is utter folly and that real action always starts with plain citizens action – the politicians jump on the bandwagon once it’s underway and getting attention.

pumpjackThe oil and gas industry is beginning to turn the economic corner, adding jobs, adding drilling rigs, and digging firms out of near, or full, bankruptcy. But, what is the focus of Democrats and Biden? Putting the petroleum industry out of business completely.

Those in positions of power had better wake up to the situation they put people in with vaccine mandates and similar. It is terribly dangerous to back people into corners from which they feel they have no alternative except to lash out for survival.
