Where is Texas’ leadership? Florida’s guv works to protect the people while Abbott does nothing – Pratt on Texas for 10/21/2021

The news of Texas covered today includes:

Our Lone Star story of the day: Where is the Texas leadership? Florida Governor DeSantis is calling a legislative special session to enact a ban on forced vaccines and more. But in Texas, Gov. Abbott seems uninterested. Lt. Gov. Patrick wants a 4th called session, but not for a ban on employer mandated vaccines, and the Texas GOP wants a session for the vaccine ban and more including fixing the election integrity bill passed in the regular session. But again, Governor Abbott’s office says such isn’t needed. What happened to all that bluster about standing up the federal government and the Biden Administration?

Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.

Third Court of Appeals sides with former A.G. employees claim that they should be entitled to protection under the Texas Whistleblower Act, as I predicted. As we’ve known all along, the issue will be decided by the Texas Supreme Court.

Senator Ted Cruz makes a good point to Leftist cities across America in filing a proposal to place illegal immigrant detention centers in their areas. Border apprehensions continue to sky rocket while Biden does nothing to curtail the invasion.

Texas made arguments to the Supreme Court on the Fetal Heartbeat Act this morning.
