According to Dallas police, about 2:30 p.m. on 27 July outside of Beverley’s Bistro an argument turned violent as a person who allegedly stole a man’s vehicle earlier in the day attempted to ram a second vehicle being used by the owner to find the stolen car.

Police say they believe that the man’s car was stolen earlier in the afternoon and then he, the victim of the theft, tracked his stolen car to the bistro. Upon arrival in another vehicle the victim confronted the thief and that’s when the verbal argument began that escalated into the thief attempting to ram the victim.

The owner of the car when coming under the physical threat of being rammed used his weapon to shoot the thief. He was a good shot, the thief was officially pronounced dead at a local hospital.
