Our Lone Star story of the day: Forgetting they work for the people of Texas, Texas House members and “leadership” have thrown a petulant fit trying to kick the Senate in the collective teeth. In the days when they should be working 20 hours per day to move bills, they decided to recess on Thursday afternoon and take a few days off. This unwarranted tantrum has killed, and will kill more, legislation important to the people of Texas. It is a failure of leadership of giant proportions.
