Cornyn shares Washington’s idea of what is “conclusive.”
It is fatuous, meaning complacently or inanely foolish, to claim that investigating alleged election corruption is somehow damaging to “democracy” and yet such claims are made daily in the press.
Democracy inherently requires not only honest and properly functioning election processes but, to be functional for very long, it requires that most all people, not just those backing one faction or another, trust that those processes work.
Claiming that leaders objecting to the results of an election, for which there is ample preliminary evidence to suggest fraud in key places and indisputable improper ignoring and changing of various state election laws outside the legislative process, is somehow ruinous to the republic is also fatuous for the same reason: Without near universal trust in the republic’s voting processes, there can be no legitimate republic for long.

It is disgusting to see such headlines as this from the Dallas Morning News: “Cruz won’t rule out objecting to Biden’s Electoral College win; Cornyn calls it ‘conclusive’.”
Conclusive in this sense means final and deciding but, such is only final and deciding because people such as spineless John Cornyn do not fight to ensure that justifiable allegations of serious fraud affecting the Electoral College numbers are fully investigated as a required step to accepting the election as presented by media Democrat activists.
Despite ignorant media claims, courts in these key states have simply found ways to dismiss or stall cases so that no serious examination of the claims of plaintiffs happens. That Senator Cornyn, a former judge, doesn’t recognize the gross injustice of this, as well as what a threat to the nation it is, shows just how deeply embedded in the Washington swamp he is.
