Biden’s “unity” message doesn’t mean getting along, it means domination

Pratt on Texas - copyright Pratt on Texas all rights reservedWe already know from early bills filed in Texas that Democrat legislators in the Lone Star State are Leftists and, other than loving big government and high taxes, have little in common with the state’s Democratic Party of a generation ago. From bills to make it illegal for you to fight back when being a victim of home invasion or armed robbery to bills making illegal everyday firearms owned by millions of Texans, state Dems are far-Left and would govern that way if given legislative majorities.

In Washington Leftist Dems are so radical as to even wanting to remove their own unique right of self-protection on the Capitol grounds. The Hill reports: “A group of liberal Democrats is pressing House leaders in both parties to bar lawmakers from carrying guns on Capitol Hill. Although members of the public are prohibited from carrying weapons of any kind on the Capitol grounds, a decades-old regulation allows lawmakers to bear firearms in most areas of the Capitol complex.”

But maybe we don’t need firearms for self-protection anymore as Joe Biden has told us, in moments of lucidity, that he is going to “heal” the nation and restore “unity.”

In a Glamour magazine interview, Jen O’Malley Dillon, who is Biden’s incoming deputy chief of staff said “The president-elect was able to connect with people over this sense of unity.”

Then Ms. Dillon, who was also Biden’s campaign manager, said that Mitch McConnell “is terrible” and that Republicans were “a bunch of f—ers.”

Some unity!

And here is the lesson for the more naïve among us: When Leftists talk about unity and healing, they mean doing away with anyone who disagrees with them or gets in their way. They don’t mean getting along with us. Don’t believe me? Read the history of every country in which the revolutionary Left has seized full power.
