“How did politicians act in lockstep on lock downs (and more) even before COVID was a crisis?” is an interesting guest commentary by professional researcher and writer Sandy Szwarc and published at PrattonTexas.com.
The detailed piece is hard to summarize in a short commentary but it deserves study by those who wish to get a speculative look behind the curtains of power and what is going on in our country.
How could all of these folk be on the same page of testing the limits of government power and liberty?
“In fact, even before a single emergency declaration was made anywhere the U.S., medical professionals knew, based on real world data from overseas and published medical literature, that this coronavirus coming here wasn’t anywhere near as deadly as other once “novel” coronaviruses, like SARS with mortality rates of 9.6% or MERS at 34%.…Independent epidemiology and immunology experts here and around the world had already published data estimating mortality rates for Covid-19 well under 1% − lower than or closer to the seasonal flu. Even Anthony Fauci and scientists from the National Institutes of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had written in the New England Journal of Medicine, published on February 28, 2020, that the data “suggests that the overall clinical consequences of COVID-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza,” and not similar to SARS or MERS,” the piece reports.
Szwarc then explores why the actions of local officials around the country were so similar and taken around same times despite no national, or in places like Texas even statewide, mandates.
How could all of these folk be on the same page of testing the limits of government power and liberty?
It’s an enlightening story that deserves to be part of your data set as we examine this calamity.
James Corbett of the Corbettreport.com is the THE MAN on what is called the “Great Reset” and other topics like scam of “Climate Change”. His research is Second to None on what is happening now. He has had help from many others as well. Many historical matters have come together to blind people as to what is really going on. His data base is FREE to research. I have gained tremendous historical insight as a result. I encourage folks to climb the “Ladder of Knowledge” that he has made available. Thank you.
Mayor Pope — as well as Governor Abbott via Bloomberg’s Covid responses for National Governors Association — continues to take his lead from Bloomberg and Bloomberg’s Harvard City Leadership Initiative.
Mayor Pope urged Lubbockites to shop local for small businesses, just as instructed by Bloomberg’s HCLI. [https://twitter.com/BHcityleaders/status/1329442456555958274]
Governor Abbott also fell into lockstep with his Nov 24th press announcement encouraging small business Saturday. [https://gov.texas.gov/news/post/web-video-governor-abbott-encourages-texans-to-participate-in-small-business-saturday]
News stories about avoiding holiday travel, holiday restrictions with heightened urgency for masking and social distancing, college students covid testing, etc. are all in lockstep across the country and they can be found from Bloomberg.
In fact, we can pretty much anticipate everything Mayor Pope and Governor Abbott are going to do by watching Bloomberg’s Guidances for cities and Actions for Governors: They are being instructed to promote covid vaccines and mass distribution (see Abbott’s Nov 23 media release and Mayor Pope’s press conference in response) and to control covid and vaccine information. The policy issued via NGA on “countering mis- and disinformation” read like Propaganda 101. It called for giving one unified message across all government sectors, partnering with social media to reduce “vaccine hesitancy,” targeting vaccine marketing to minorities and socially isolated communities, using emergency and public health response protocols, and recommended “fact checkers” (the very ones funded by radical progressive groups) as sources the public should turn to for trusted science. It recommended setting up task forces for communication strategies, monitoring what people are saying on social media, and leveraging Homeland Security and Federal security agencies to monitor and counter “disinformation” and steer people towards the “official information,” and it recommended partnering with social media Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube. They are trying to equate true health quackery with any information that counters the government message, even if it is actually the sound and objective science. Pennsylvania officials already started using the public emergency alert system to issue government Covid messages on “smart” phones to wash hands, wear mask, stay home, socially distance. [https://www.fox29.com/news/pa-set-to-send-alert-messages-regarding-pandemic-officials-announce]
A scary initiative being pushed by Bloomberg that we can look forward to is government tracking apps on phones and covid passes for travel, attendance to events, school and work.
This is clearly not about a virus — a virus, we all must remembers, has an IFR of 0.02%.
