Paramount: Vote. Imperative: Vote the full ballot, top to bottom.

Pratt on Texas - copyright Pratt on Texas all rights reservedIn the mayoral races for Abilene, Lubbock and Wichita Falls, I’ve issued voter recommendations which you can find here. I did not endorse any candidates, I only offered recommendations and I had not planned to issue even those but did so due to the overwhelming amount of email requesting such.

It is very important for voters to understand that this is a General Election which means it is mostly a partisan ballot with Democrats versus Republicans. The exception is that some areas have local races at the bottom of the ballot which are not partisan, meaning the candidates are not nominees of a political party.

I have said:  “…vote for the Republican in all partisan races. Even the worst Republican today is far superior to any Leftwing Democrat – and they’re all Leftwing in that party now.”

…all, from the statehouse to local courthouses, affect our freedom as we’ve been reminded with lock-downs and other dubious “orders.”

That is not overstated, it is not humor, it is the sad reality that the Democratic Party has fully joined the worldwide Leftist movement and embraced goals designed to destroy these United States of America as a leading free nation as well as any other prosperous power that recognizes the rights of the individual as being superior to those of the state and its “progressive” planners and managers.

The state and nation are at risk.

This is the first election in my voting lifetime in Texas in which we do not have the option to vote a straight-party ticket. I understand why the legislature took that away, I disagree with that decision in the larger picture, but it was done and we must deal with it.

It is paramount that all right thinking people vote and get others like them to the polls.

Once there, it is imperative that you vote the entire ballot from top to bottom. Don’t just vote the top few races as all, from the statehouse to local courthouses, affect our freedom as we’ve been reminded with lock-downs and other dubious “orders.”
