NRA endorsements include “A+” rated Drew Springer in SD30

John Cornyn

U.S. Senator John Cornyn

In the Texas race for U.S. Senate the NRA fully backs re-election of John Cornyn who supports pro-gun judges, right-to-carry, and supports veterans’ Second Amendment rights. Cornyn opposes backdoor gun bans and opposes the Bloomberg/Biden plan to ban lawfully-owned semi-automatic firearms, magazines and commonly used ammunition. Cornyn’s liberal challenger, Democrat MJ Hegar, earns an “F” rating from NRA and is typically hostile to the Second Amendment.

NRA recommends our friends Ronny Jackson in Texas Congressional District 13, Jody Arrington in TX19, and August Pfluger in TX11. A reader of the NRA magazine insert will note that state Senator Pat Fallon, now the GOP nominee for Texas’ 4th Congressional District is the only congressional endorsee who has earned a full “A+” rating from NRA.

Rep. Drew Springer

That brings us to the special election for the Texas Senate seat Fallon is vacating.

NRA has endorsed Representative Drew Springer and in the NRA printed list put out before the SD30 election formed up, Springer is listed as one of the relative few state house members who has earned a coveted “A+” rating.

Those voting in the SD30 race early this week or on election day next Tuesday should take this as more evidence to support what I’ve said: Drew Springer has a proven conservative record; it’s not speculative, it’s proven and his opponents simply do not, which makes voting for them a risky roll of the dice.
