After Night Two of the Republican National Convention the Associated Propaganda wire service offered up a story headlined “Trump’s Convention Gives Platform to Some With Fringe Views,” which begs the question: Fringe according to whom?
It is important to remember that to Leftists at the AP and other media outlets, it is a fringe view that people should only cross into our country through legal means. It is a fringe view among the Left that those residing in our country illegally should be subject to deportation. It’s even a fringe view among many Democrats today that only citizens of our country should be allowed to vote.
It’s even a fringe view among many Democrats today that only citizens of our country should be allowed to vote.
“Fringe” views held by Republicans are such arcane things as our Constitution meaning what it says and that all government power is to be limited by that document. It’s apparently a fringe view that religious people should be proud of their faith and insist on their right to free exercise of their religion even when liberals object to such.
The list of what constitutes a “fringe view” in the eyes of the blinkered Left is near endless but one thing you can count on is that much of those items said to be fringe are actually normal, reasonable and traditional views – you know, such things as marriage existing to be only between a male and female.
Setting “fringe views” aside, the funniest, most laughably out-of-touch paragraph in the AP story was this:
“Trump’s convention lineup has sometimes had the feel of a lower-profile conservative gathering, much like the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, which draws a wide range of ardent conservative activists and does not aim to appeal to a broader, more moderate audience.”
That, my friends, is a “fringe view” straight out the Associated Propagandists press pool.
AP’s “fringe views” of GOP convention risible
